Thinking about the Brownie Brief.

At the moment, all I have seemed to produce that I actually like are a few watch design and a felt owl.

This isnt working. I have no rock solid objective. I need to figure out what exactly am I doing for the Brownies.

After a group brainstorm, ideas were chicked on the table of possible deliverable for their centenary celebration.

One idea was to produce a writing set to set up a pen pal organisation to spread the word of international Brownie activities. Perhaps in 100 places.

Another was to produce a party pack with a a party plan and equipment for each Brownie organisation.  For example-skyping other Brownie groups in a party.  Party equipment like owl bunting etc.

The trouble is that these are all Brownie specific. There isn't room for a range across the other organisations (ages) in Girl Guiding and to look for a range in producing all of these ideas wouldn't work as they don't work together. It would just be a bunch of stuff.

 But then- I thought ok have a look at if any of these things are possible and I found this... Turns out it all exists and the thought of improving it doesn't excite me atall...

I'm really having trouble with this brief. I aim to get my teeth into Brief one and get making and hopefully over this time I will come across a solution which incorporates some work I have already done for this brief. I need to get a move on.

               MAYBE THE PEN PAL IDEA OF DESIGNING PEN PAL EQUIPMENT FOR ONE BROWNIE TO SEND TO ANOTHER IN ANOTHER COUNTRY. THE BROWNIES OBVIOUSLY LIKE THE IDEA FROM THE LOOKS OF THEIR EXISTING PACK..

I COULD PRODUCE;
100TH BIRTHDAY WRITING PAPER
PENCILS WITH OWL COVERS
CARDS
ENVELOPES
STAMPS
BADGES TO GO IN THE ENVELOPES

EVEN THE WATCHES COULD COME INTO USE AS THEY COULD BE USED TOO.
